Carmen Halphen, a Panamanian–Spanish artist and graduate in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design, has built a versatile artistic career that spans multiple mediums. Her experience includes radio and event production, music video creation, theater, film festival coordination, and fashion planning. Throughout her career, she has worked across various areas of the film industry, including production, screenwriting, continuity, wardrobe, production design, and directing.
Carmen has collaborated with renowned companies such as Warner Bros., Ok Productions, Treehouse Studios, Ley Line Entertainment, Jaguar Films, GC Productions, Bambu Productions, AMC Studios, Lifetime TV, and Array Filmworks. She has also contributed to several festivals, including the IFF Panama (International Film Festival of Panama), for several years. These experiences have been essential in strengthening her skills in visual storytelling and the craft of bringing narratives to life through her productions.
Among her standout projects as a director are Evento Canónico, Her Story, Full Circle, and Rejection. Born and raised in Panama City, Carmen has lived in various countries, giving her a broad and enriched worldview. This unique perspective is reflected in her ability to orchestrate successful productions, such as her recent project El Alma de la Sed.
